AAUP Hosts the Heads of the Languages Departments and the English Language Departments in the Palestinian Universities

Arab American University hosted the heads of the Languages Departments and the heads of the English Language Departments in the Palestinian universities including: Palestine Ahliya University, Bethlehem University, Al Quds University- Abu dees, Al Quds Open University, Palestine Technical University – Kadoorie, An Najah National University, Birzeit University and Al Istiqlal University.

The universities agreed to organize this first Languages conference in Al Istiqlal University during November- 2022 with the participation of all the West Bank Universities physically, and the universities of Gaza through the Video Conference.

The participated universities recommended putting some focus on the role of professors and teachers, the educational environment, enhancing the role of IT- specialist people to help in the researches and e-lectures and the impact of changing the modern communication means on education and language.

Continuing Education Department Concludes Number of Courses

AAUP Continuing Education Department concluded a number of English Conversation courses, the preparatory course for the IELTS test and Training of Trainers (ToT) for fitness and bodybuilding trainers’ first level.

Continuing Education Department employee Ms. Shatha Al Ahmad said, this preparing course for the International British IELTS aims to rehabilitation its participants for the exam held at the British consulate soon, the language specialist Mr. Yahya Aqeel was the trainer.
