AAUP Holds a Training Course on Modern Digital Marketing for Small Rural Working Women

The Deanship of Student Affairs at the Arab American University, in cooperation with the Palestinian Center for Economic and Social Development, organized a training course on modern digital marketing, targeting 20 women working in agricultural and craft manufacturing from the Palestinian countryside. The training was conducted by the expert in digital marketing, Mr. Mahmoud Abu Farha.

The course was opened by the Dean of Student Affairs at the Arab American University, Dr. Fadi Jumaa, welcoming the attendees and stressing the importance of the course that targets businesswomen from the Palestinian countryside. He explained that one of the goals on which the University is based is to serve the Palestinian public, and that AAUP has many centers, activities and events to provide these services in several fields, such as health, medical, academic, scientific, sports, and many more, indicating that the University’s doors are open to the Palestinian public.

The Arab American University Holds a Training Course for Local Authorities and Local Government Departments

The Office of the Assistant to the President for Community Affairs has held a series of courses over six days, targeting employees of local authorities and local government directorate departments in the Jenin and Tubas governorates, titled “The financial system for local authorities, the mechanism for recruiting financial support, and methods for filling out project applications.”

The course was inaugurated by Dr. Laila Herzallah, Assistant to the University President for Community Affairs, with the presence of the Director of Local Government in Tubas, Mr. Ragheb Abu Diak, with a speech in which she welcomed the attendees, and indicated that the aim of these courses is to develop the practical, scientific and functional skills of local authorities, and to strengthen relations between the University and the local community, within the university’s vision.

The AAUP Faculty of Medicine Holds its First Meeting for the Local Community Committee

The Faculty of Medicine at the Arab American University has held its first meeting for the Local Community Committee, to confirm their effective and vital role in supporting educational institutions, and the Faculty’s belief in this role. The meeting was held with the presence of Dr. Malik Zaben, Dean of the Faculty, his deputy, assistants, and Assistant President for Community Affairs Dr. Laila Harzallah, and representatives of the local community.

At the beginning of the meeting, Dr. Zaben welcomed the members of the local community committee, represented by the positions they occupy, including governorates, municipalities, hospitals, and various departments in Jenin and Tubas. He reviewed the vision and mission of the Faculty of Medicine and its goals, the most important of which is graduating distinguished doctors. He also emphasized the role of the local community and its support, and touched upon some of the tasks of this committee.
