Dr. Layla Harzallah from the Deanship of Student Affairs represented Arab American University and emphasized how AAUP focuses and cares about the Palestinian women issues, and this makes it a leader in all the scientific and social fields and aspects as part of the Palestinian community.

Dr. Basher Daraghmeh- the Dean of the Deanship of Student Affairs said that such polls are important in the systems and internal policies and it will be implied among the legislation and internal policies.

Mr. Hasan Alsaeed- the Library Manager said that they have bought some new modern books that will serve the new programs in the university, in addition to some new books to be provided in the university that serves the different programs and departments.

At the end of the activities of the book fair, the Jordanian Publishers Association and the administration of the International Fair honored the Manager of AAUP Library by handing him association shield.

The two-day program that was organized in Nablus city targeted female students from the different Palestinian universities and was funded by the Cyprus Consulate.  

Dr. Amal Hamad – the Minister of Women Affairs attended the opening of the first day of the program along with Dr. Muhib Abulouha- the Secretary of the Higher Education Council representing the Minister of Higher Education, representatives from the ministries, the deans of the faculties and students including AAUP students.
