The Chairman of Boards of Directors Dr. Yousif Asfour, and Vice-President of International Relations at Dr. Dalal Erekat, and Board Member Mr. Bahaa Asfour welcomed the delegation and discussed with them the ways of academic cooperation in regarding student exchanges, exchange of faculty members and administration staff, as well as finding new academic programs that will enhance the change in the institutions of the Palestinian society through education, in alliance with the university’s vision to cooperate with international universities to create educational and research partnerships.

The delegation represented the University of Flensburg in Germany, its Vice President for International and European Affairs Prof. Monica Igmoller, the Director of International Bureau at the University, Professor Orlik Barker, and Prof. Ralf Westenber, attended with Dr. Zeina Barakat. They were welcomed by Vice President of International Relations at Arab American University Dr. Dalal Erekat, and Vice President for Planning and Development Dr. Maaz Sabha. Dr. Moaz Sabha.

The book was launched in the attendance of the author, Dr. Khaled Al-Hroub, Chairman of Policy and Conflict Resolution Studies Center at the University,
Dr. Ayman Yousef, literary critic Dr. Ibrahim Abu Hashhash, Manager Policy and Conflict Resolution Studies Center Mrs. Rola Shahwan, members of the academic Staff, students from various master programs, a number of writers and intellectuals, and representatives of institutions interested in the culture.
