AAUP Receives the Police Director of Ramallah and AlBireh to Discuss Future Collaboration

Dr. Yousef Asfour- the Chairman of the Board of Directors and Prof. Waleed Deeb- the Founding President and the Academic Advisor of the Board of Directors received a delegation from the Police Department including the Police Director of Ramallah and AlBireh, Dr. Alaa Shalabi and Mr. Mansur Khuzaimia- the Director of Academic Affairs at the Police General Directorate who visited AAUP Campus in Ramallah to discuss enhancing collaboration and to understand what academic programs AAUP provides.

During the meeting, both parties discussed some joint issues that need collaboration, especially in the scientific, technological and training aspects.

A Delegation from the Palestinian Businessmen Association Visits Arab American University

Prof. Ali Zeidan Abu Zuhri- the University President received a delegation from the Palestinian Businessmen Association headed by the Head of the Association, Mr. Mohammad Al Amour who visited the university to see its buildings, facilities, academic programs and the services that AAUP provides to the local community.

The Faculty of Law in AAUP Receives a Delegation from the Red Crescent to Discuss Joint Collaboration

Dr. Riziq Samoudi- the Dean of the Faculty of Law and Dr. Saeed Abu Farah- a Lecturer in the Faculty specialized in the International Humanitarian Law received a delegation from the Palestinian Red Crescent that included Mr. Riziq Shuqair and Mr. Marwan Jitani who visited the Faculty of Law in Arab American University to discuss means of joint collaboration in many fields.

During the meeting, both parties discussed the possibilities and capabilities of organizing a joint conference about International Humanitarian Law, and the idea of adding an International Humanitarian Law course for Law students in specific and the university students as well. Moreover, they agreed to sign MoU soon that should contain articles on starting joint programs between the university and the Red Crescent.
