The Public Relations Department in AAUP Hands Master’s Degree Scholarship Notes to Palestinian Organizations

A delegation from the Public Relations Department at Arab American University visited some organizations in Ramallah to hand scholarship notes for the Master’s Degree in AAUP, in addition to discuss the means of collaboration between both parties.

The delegation visited the Palestinian Monetary Authority, the Supreme Council for Youth and Sport, the Official Public Authority for Radio and Television and the Palestinian Bank Association.

A Delegation from AAUP Visits Hospitals in Ramallah and Nablus to Provide them with Scholarships in the Master’s Degree Programs

A delegation from Arab American University organized a visit to some hospitals in Ramallah and Nablus cities. The group met the directors and managers of the hospitals to hand them scholarship offers for the new Master’s Degree Programs of AAUP specifically for the employees of the health sector.

The delegation of Prof. Mohammad Asia- the VP for the Medical Schools Affairs, Mr. Fadi Joma’a- the Public Relations Manager and Mr. Raid Abubaker and Ms. Marina Daibs- PR officers organized the visits.

Prof. Asia said that Arab American University offered these special scholarships to employees of the governmental and private sectors aiming to facilitate it to the employees to apply and study graduate studies. He added that AAUP aims to always provides services to the local community and those scholarships are directed to the workers in the health sector in the West Bank.

BOP signs an MoU to support Doctoral Program in Business

Bank of Palestine and Arab American University signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to support PhD program in Business as part of its contribution to support higher education. The memorandum of understanding was signed at the headquarters of the Bank of Palestine's in Ramallah, in the presence of Mr. Rushdi Al-Ghalayini General Manger of BOP and Mr. Faleh Abu Arrah, Vice President of Financial and Administrative Affairs from AAUP.

In the agreement terms, the Bank will provide special financial support to Ph.D. Business students at Arab American University. Where this program has excellent educational features specially in applying quantitative and qualitative research methods in the field of business as an in-depth knowledge and understanding of research and applications in main business areas, this Ph.D. program will enable the graduate to apply the outcomes with either an academic or industry focus.
