Mr. Aahed Abu Rub- the representative of the Ministry of Education and the Head of the Student Activities Department in the Directorate of Education in Jenin said that seven governorates in the north of the West Bank have participated in the championship that was organized for two days, as they have competed for the first and second place for singles and doubles.

Dr. Saba’ Jarrar- a member of the committee of the 20^th anniversary celebrations said: “the two workshops that were organized under collaboration between Arab American University and the Ministry of Education came after the contests that were organized for school students to compete in “best storyboard” and the “best writing skills” about the university and the university life. Some of the students who were creative in the contests were chosen to participate in the workshops.”

The delegation included the principle of Al-Amal Secondary School in Al-Mashhad, Nazareth district Dr. Said Suleiman, the principle of Al-Shamila Secondary School in Shafa Amro Mr. Jalal Hammadi, and the principle of Al-Andalus Secondary School in Baqa Al-Gharbia Mr. Ashraf Maqaldih.

During the meeting, Prof. Abu Zuhri welcomed the delegation and presented the academic development in many of the disciplines according to needs of the 48 Palestinian territories. He also explained the university's specializations in bachelor's, master's and doctorate.
