AAUP and the Public Prosecution of Palestine Sign a Collaboration Agreement

Prof. Ali Zeidan AbuZuhri- Arab American University President and Advisor Akram Khatib- the Attorney General of the State of Palestine Signed a collaboration and experience exchange agreement in AAUP- Ramallah Campus.

Dr. Yousef Asfour- the Chairman of the Board of Directors and Prof. Waleed Deeb- the Founding President and the Academic Advisor of the Board of Directors attended the signing of the agreement along with a delegation of Mr. Ashraf Iriqat- the Assistant Attorney General, Mr. Yasir Hamad- the Assistant Attorney General, and Mr. Thair Khalil- the Head of Juvenile Prosecution.

AAUP and ACT Sign MoU

Dr. Iyad Yaqoub - The Head of the Board of Directors of the Policy and Conflict Resolution Studies Center in Arab American University and Mr. Mohammad Hadia- Representing ACT signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) between both parties to enhance their joint work.

Dr. Iyad Yaqoub ensured that agreements with the civil society organizations are very important in order to benefit from the experiences of others and transfer knowledge to students and trainees, and to train students _especially students of Conflict Resolution and Intercultural Communication_ on the needed skills that will develop them and provide better opportunities in the labor market for them.

The Chairman of the Board of Directors, Dr. Yousef Asfour and Prof. Ali Zeidan Abu Zuhri- the University President while honoring the Head of the Anti-Corruption Commission, Mr. Ra’id Radwa.

Arab American University represented by Prof. Ali Zeidan Abu Zuhri- the University President, and the Anti-Corruption Commission represented by Mr. Ra’id Radwan- the Head of the Commission signed a joint collaboration agreement that also included a continuous in providing and teaching anti-corruption courses. 

The signing event took place in AAUP- Ramallah Campus where Dr. Yousef Asfour- the Chairman of the Board of Directors and other representatives of both organizations witnessed the event.

Mr. Ra’id Radwan said that the Commission is seeking to enhance the collaboration with the different colleges and universities in Palestine to instill the values of integrity and transparency in students. He mentioned that this MoU reflects the interests of the commission in inserting university students in the anti-corruption system and raise their awareness in the risks of corruption in order to prevent them from doing any wrong actions during their practical and professional lives.
