Training

AAUP was represented by Dr. Moayad Abu Saa- the VP for Academic Affairs, Dr. Amjad Ratrout- the Coordinator for TVETCQ in AAUP and Dr. Rasmyeh Anabtawi- the Faculty Member in the Faculty of Nursing.

The training was for the Palestinian universities and ministries which included: Arab American University, Al Quds University, the University College of Applied Sciences – Gaza, Palestine Polytechnic University, An Najah National University, the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Labor.

In the opening session, Mr. Sudqi Mousa- Tawasol Project Coordinator in AAUP welcomed the participants and praised the role that PYALARA does in activating the youth role in the society.

Dr. Mosadaq Barahmeh- the Dean of the Faculty of Arts in AAUP emphasized on the importance of such courses and workshops, and asked students to participate as this will benefit them in blending in the labor market, and thus be distinguish and this is what Arab American University aspires that its students will be.

The delegation had a tour in the departments of the Military Medical Services and Life Gate Foundation and watched how artificial limbs are being made and how to deal with people in need for those parts. In addition, the delegation discussed how to exchange experiences in this field especially that Arab American University will be finishing soon from building the largest laboratory to manufacture of artificial limbs in Palestine in order to train the students of the department and fulfill the needs of the artificial limbs in Palestine.
