AAUP Environmental Sustainability Policy:
AAUP recognizes its responsibility to protect and preserve the environment for current and future generations. This Environmental Sustainability Policy outlines the university’s commitment to promoting sustainable practices, minimizing our environmental impact, and fostering a culture of environmental stewardship. By integrating sustainability into our operations, curriculum, and campus life, AAUP strives to lead by example and inspire positive change.
The Center of Excellence in Climate Change and Environmental Technology (CECCET):
The CECCET at the Arab American University in Palestine, established in 2018, serves as a dedicated scientific center for studying climate change and its effects in Palestine. It has a significant impact on climate change issues and challenges, providing solutions and strategic consultations to decision-makers and policymakers in Palestine regarding climate change and its impacts. The Center for Climate Change and Environmental Technology Excellence serves as the foundation for numerous scientific analyses and data integration. Consequently, the center provides opportunities for creativity, innovation, and communication, building partnership relationships to address climate challenges using the latest available environmental technology techniques.
