This research aimed to reveal the human issues and values entailed in the children's play (Sunbulat Na'nu'a) by the Iraqi writer Muzaffar Al-Tayeb, and monitor its educational, moral and national implications in consolidating the values of citizenship and enhancing belonging in the recipient (the child).
The play, in a smooth manner, was able to instill a set of authentic values and noble human qualities in its recipients from children, in particular, and all recipients, in general, as a text that deals with existing societal issues. Among the values addressed by Muzaffar al-Tayeb in his play are: honesty, courage, honesty, team work, and other constructive values that contribute to preserving the identity of the individual, the unity, cohesion and renaissance of society. Thus, Muzaffar al-Tayyib sustained authentic values and noble morals. He supported justice and goodness against falsehood, injustice and evil. The study included an introduction, some axes, and a conclusion with the most important findings. More specifically, the first axis dealt with theorizing the concept of citizenship values; the second axis revealed the characteristics of the children's play (Sunbulat Na'nua) and the mechanisms on which the writer relied; the third axis showed the significance of the title of the play; the fourth axis revealed the significance of the names of the characters and their most important features; the fifth axis talked about the psychological alienation of the characters and self-efficacy and the last axis highlighted the effectiveness of values of courage, honesty, honesty.
