Student Services Policy

Goal

AAUP is committed to providing comprehensive and student-centered support services to enhance the overall educational experience and well-being of its students. This Student Services Policy outlines the University’s commitment to delivering high-quality services that promote student success, personal growth, and a positive campus environment. By offering a wide range of services, AAUP aims to support students in their academic pursuits, personal development, and holistic well-being.

Policy Statement

AAUP is dedicated to the following principles and standards for student services:

  1. Academic Support:
    • AAUP provides academic advising, tutoring, mentoring, and other resources to assist students in their educational journey.
    • AAUP offers workshops, study skills development programs, and access to academic resources to enhance student learning and success.
       
  2. Career Development:
    • AAUP offers career counseling, job search assistance, resume writing, and interview preparation services to help students explore career paths and achieve their professional goals.
    • AAUP facilitates internships, cooperative education programs, and experiential learning opportunities to connect students with real-world experiences.
       
  3. Health and Wellness Services:
    • AAUP provides access to health services, counseling, and mental health support to promote the physical, emotional, and psychological well-being of our students.
    • AAUP offers wellness programs, workshops, and activities that encourage healthy lifestyles and stress management.
       
  4. Disability Services:
    • AAUP ensures equal access and reasonable accommodations for students with disabilities, in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
    • AAUP provides support services, assistive technologies, and academic adjustments to create an inclusive and accessible learning environment.
       
  5. Student Engagement and Leadership:

To ensure the successful implementation of this Student Services Policy, AAUP will:
