Master in Non-Profit Enterprise Management

Overview

The field of nonprofit management needs a new generation of leaders. There is a strong demand for those with managerial, leadership, and interpersonal skills, as well as in-depth knowledge of fundraising, strategic planning, marketing, and governance issues.

Rather than a generic MBA program, it is important to find a degree that closely aligns with the core competencies of fundraising, policy and strategic management.

With this Degree the student will gain real-world experience while they build the leadership and business skills needed to tackle the unique challenges facing the nonprofit sector specially in Palestine.

This program prepares students for leadership position in not-for-profit universities, hospitals, charities, foundations, NGOs, or any humanitarian organization.

 

Goals

  1. This program aims to enable students to manage and analyze massive data sets and learn how to interpret their findings. Through learning about three principal of health data science: statistics, computing, and health sciences. 
  2. The program aims to provide students with rigorous quantitative knowledge in statistical and computational skills needed to manage, analyze, and learn from health data. 
  3. Students will learn to scrape, create, and manage large health-related datasets; summarize, visualize, and interpret data.
  4. Student will be able to apply statistical methods to draw conclusions from the data; use machine learning to reveal features of large, complex health-related datasets.

 

STUDENT LEARNING OUTCOME

This Degree will prepare the student to: 

  • Initiate and set goals for programs according to the strategic objectives of the organization they are working for.
  • Plan new programs from start to completion involving deadlines, milestones and processes
  • Develop or approve budgets and operations
  • Devise evaluation strategies to monitor performance and determine the need for improvements
  • Supervise all program and project managers involved in organization to provide feedback and resolve complex problems
  • Discover ways to enhance efficiency and productivity of procedures and people
  • Apply change, risk and resource management principles when needed
  • Ensure program operations and activities adhere to legal guidelines and internal policies
