Demonstrate proficiency in fundamental business and operations management principles and practices.
Demonstrate knowledge of emerging trends, challenges, opportunities and best practices in procurement management including the growth of e-procurement.
Formulate procurement management and sourcing strategies that help achieve organizational goals.
Use qualitative and quantitative techniques to evaluate procurement alternatives, assess suppliers, analyze and negotiate costs and make effective decisions.
Establish and implement processes and procedures to improve the procurement management function in an organization.
Apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills to develop solutions to procurement management challenges faced by public and private organizations.
