Accreditation of Prof. Dr. Asia to be coordinator of Arab Nursing programs

AAUP Faculty of Nursing seeks to get accreditation of The Scientific Association of Arab Nursing Colleges to raise both the university and faculty to high regional and international universities level.

Dean of Faculties of Nursing and Allied Medical Sciences Prof. Dr. Mohamed Asia, said he recently started preparing self-evaluation report for the Faculty of Nursing at university to submit it to Scientific Association of Nursing Colleges, then the association supervisors will come for the last check and announce the accreditation. Noting, this step would put AAUP and its Faculty of Nursing in prestigious and privileged position among Arab and international universities, as well as it contributes to provide academic curriculum presented for students in an effective way, can be measured during undergraduate period and post-graduation, thus the university prepares its college to provide the best, high quality education for its students.

In a separate context, Arab Council for Quality Assurance and Accreditation, the General Secretariat of Universities Union and the Scientific Assosiation of Arab Nursing Colleges choosed Dean of the Nursing and Allied Medical Sciences Colleges at the Arab American University Prof. Dr. Mohamed Asia as coordinator of Arab Nursing programs.

Prof. Dr. Asia pointed such accreditation comes after having a number of specialized workshops to rehabilitate the accredited coordinator for 2017, these workshops were organized at Faculty of Nursing at University of Alexandria in the Arab Republic of Egypt.
