AAUP & Academy of Fine Arts, Verona Signed a Partnership Agreement for launching a Bachelor's Program in Interior Architecture to be studied at AAUP. The signing ceremony was held in Verona City.

The Agreement was signed by the two parties, where Prof Waleed Deeb Academic Advisor presented AAUP, and Mr. Marco Jeratsoni the president of the Academy of Fine Arts, Verona. With the presence of Faculty members, the Mayor of Verona, and a number of consuls.

Prof. Waleed Deeb said that “this agreement is unique step since it’s with the partnership of the Academy of Fine Arts, Verona which is known to be one the most famous Academies of Arts in Italy. Adding that this program will soon be ready for launching to be the first of its kind in Palestine, known of its distinguished international dimensions. Furthermore, a number of Faculty members and Artists from Verona Academy will teach this program at AAUP”.

He added that this program comes within the university’s goals in continuingly raising its academic levels through networking and connecting with Verona Universities and Academies. Furthermore, to attract international expertise that will enhance higher education in Palestine, and provide the necessary needs of the local market. As he clarified that this program will create a great opportunity for Palestinian students to enroll in such a program while launching it in AAUP to learn international arts of interior architecture. In addition to the possibility of visiting the Academy of Fine Arts, Verona for a whole study semester to gain both education and training. 

For his part, the president of the Academy Mr. Marco, expressed the Academy's desire to transfer its expertise and knowledge to Palestinian students through the joint program of internal architecture in partnership with Arab American University, praising the university’s continuous efforts in bringing distinguished academic programs within its academic curriculum.
