AAUP Honors two Employees and a Graduate who Resuscitate Cardiac Cases for People in an Accident

They got training in the Heart Center in AAUP

Arab American University honored two of its staff and one graduate who did a humanitarian action by saving lives of people who were in an accident as they resuscitate cardiac. The staff members and the graduate took intensive training in the Heart Center in AAUP and knew what to do when they were by chance in the same place where the accident was.

Prof. Mohammad Asia- the VP for Medical Schools Affairs attended the honoring along with Dr. Lubna Harazneh- the Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, Dr. Imad Khader- the Heart Center Manager in AAUP and Mr. Fadi Jumaa- the PR Manager, and the honoring was for Mr. Ayman Inaya and Mr. Farid Abulail- staff members in the Faculty of Nursing and trainers in the Heart Center in AAUP, and the graduate from the Faculty of Nursing, Ra’fat Sharab.

The ceremony started by a speech by Prof. Asia who appreciated the action of the staff and the graduate and said that this is a proof of how successful and beneficial the trainings in the Heart Center are, this center that was established in 2016 and has expert trainers and most modern devices and tools according to international standards.

Dr. Harazneh- the Dean of the Faculty of Nursing said that the theory classes that they taught in the faculty are complementary to the practical trainings in the Heart Center or in the nursing laboratories. She added that the Faculty is graduating students who already have their own names in the Palestinian labor market.

Dr. Imad Khader- the Heart Center Manager said: “We are living in an environment that is always under risk, and I recommend all the local community to take the need first aid and heart trainings to gain the needed skills to help people in need”. He added that everybody should be proud of the training courses that the center offers and assured that all students and even the local community are welcome to join the training courses that the center provides.

Mr. Ayman Inaya, Mr. Farid Abulail and Mr. Ra’fat Sharab talked about what happened during the rescue and stressed how helpful and useful the trainings they got in the Heart Center were as they rescued people how already were between life and death. They also thanked Arab American University and the Heart Center for the role they do in offering training to the local community and to students.

At the end of the ceremony, Mr. Ayman Inaya, Mr. Farid Abulail and Mr. Ra’fat Sharab were honored for their humanitarian action.
