Represented by Dr. Khair Aldeen Talib- the Head of the Fiqh and Law Department in the Faculty of Law, and Mr. Wasim Abdallah from the Deanship of Student Affairs, Arab American University participated in a workshop about “Promoting the Dialogue Culture” that was funded by the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation and organized by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

The workshop participants discussed the mechanism of applying the project on 14 of the West Bank and Gaza universities in the coming four years, as the ministry has adopted this project and it is planned to be applied on academics and students through different courses and workshops.
In his speech, Dr. Khair Aldeen Talib presented the efforts of AAUP in enhancing and promoting the dialogue culture and human rights through some of its courses that the Faculty of Law is already teaching among its study plan or through conferences and workshops that were organized under collaboration with other parties. He added that Arab American University is celebrating its 20th anniversary of building foundations for human rights while the occupation was destroying buildings and institutions.
