AL-Deek Defenses His Master Thesis Entitled: "The Possibilities and Challenges of The Palestinians of Israel in Building the Palestinian Economy"

Anan Yousef Al-Deek, a student of strategic planning and fundraising from Faculty of Graduate Studies of Arab American University in Ramallah, discussed his Master's thesis entitled "The Possibilities and Challenges of the Palestinian of Israel in Building the Palestinian Economy"

The researcher studied the economic possibilities of Palestinians of Israel, specially their experience gained from the Israeli market, the abundance of capital, and the challenges faced by the Palestinians in the 48 territories in building the Palestinian economy from the bureaucracy of the Palestinian laws, the lack of knowledge of the investment environment, the opportunities available in the State of Palestine, the Possibilities of entering to the Arab world through the Palestinian gate, and the cheap labor force comparing it with the Israeli market.

This thesis is considered the first of its kind, where it covers a research area serving 3 categories: investors from the 48 territories and 67 Palestinians, formal and non-formal institutions and researchers.

On the other hand, the thesis carried out recommendations for two categories, the first for the Palestinians of the 48 by creating an economic framework in Israel that includes all economists from various fields, and creating a framework that combines the human capital for the Palestinians in the 48 territories. The recommendations for the State of Palestine came within the framework of building a specialized body of Palestinians in 1948 and 1967, to regulate economic relations in accordance with the interests of all, establishing a capital market and venture capital funds, technological incubators and providing capital for research and development.

At the end of the defense, the committee contained by of the first supervisor of the thesis, the committee's chairman Dr. Sherif Abu Karash, the second supervisor General Secretary of the Democratic Rally Party, Dr. Mutanas Shehadeh, the internal examiner from Arab American University, Dr. Mohammed Abu Sharba, and the external examiner Dr. Hisham Awartani, decided to grant Anan Al-Deek the Masters’ degree.
