The Arab American University and AlQuds Pharmaceuticals Group have signed a memorandum of understanding to enhance strategic collaboration between the two parties and support innovation in the sectors of higher education and the pharmaceutical industry in Palestine.
The agreement was signed by Dr. Bara Asfour, Acting President of the Arab American University, and Dr. Mohammad Masrouji, Chairman of the Board of Directors of AlQuds Pharmaceuticals Group, on the University’s Ramallah campus, with the presence of the founding Chairman of the University’s Board of Directors, Dr. Yousef Asfour.
For his part, Dr. Bara Asfour stressed the importance of signing this memorandum of Understanding, which strengthens the complementary relationship between the Arab American University and the private sector to improve education and develop the skills necessary for students to enter the labor market. Dr. Asfour stressed the University’s commitment to providing high-quality academic programs that meet the needs of the labor market and employ the latest technologies.
For his part, Dr. Mohammad Masrouji expressed his pride in signing this MOU, stressing the keenness of AlQuds Pharmaceuticals Group to cooperate with the Arab American University in the field of scientific research and exchange of experiences. He indicated that the group seeks, through this cooperation, to contribute to education and strengthen the relationship with the academic sector in Palestine.
This memorandum of Understanding comes within the framework of the Arab American University’s keenness to strengthen its relations with the private sector, provide distinguished training opportunities for its students, and contribute to the development of the Palestinian pharmaceutical industry.
