Arab American University and Palestinian Red Crescent Society signs an agreement to establish ER and First-Aid Center on campus, in presence of University President Prof. Dr. Ali Zeidan Abu Zuhri, representative of the Red Crescent Society its Tubas’s center Manager Nidal Odeh and Dean of both Nursing and Allied Medical Sciences Faculties Dr. Mohammad Asia.

Dr. Abu Zuhri praised the Red Crescent Society role plays. Pointing, the university seeks to provide safe environment for the students by establishing this center, which will provide first aid and emergency services to students and surrounding communities. Noting, the university will provide the center staff everything; headquarter, special parking for ambulance and other support services.

The representative of the Red Crescent Society thanked Arab American University for its efforts to establish the center in a region that needs its services. Pointing, the Red Crescent Society is a national humanitarian services association, have prepared the staff already.

This center will provide First-Aid courses for university students and staff, it’s important to know mechanisms of dealing with emergency cases if they happen until emergency services arrives.
