The Arab American University has held a medical day in the municipality of Marj Ibn Amer, which includes several villages in the eastern part of Jenin Governorate, targeting the local community and their children.

The mayor, Mr. Barakat Al-Omari and Mr. Hilal Nassar, welcomed the medical delegation, and appreciated the role of the Arab American University in this humanitarian initiative to serve citizens, its important role in the region, and its efforts to contribute to providing its scientific and medical services to citizens in light of the difficult circumstances in the country.

The Assistant to the President of the Arab American University for Community Affairs, Dr. Laila Herzallah, stressed the University’s endeavor to strengthen the relationship with all institutions in society, due to the importance of community partnership, which comes within the University’s mission of sustainable development. Dr. Herzallah thanked all the efforts made by those in charge of this medical day as well as the pharmaceutical companies, Al-Quds and Sama Company, who all strived to provide the best scientific, medical and humanitarian services and expertise.
