Arab American University Hosts Palestinian Businessman Bahour to Talk on the Private Sector Development Role

Conflicts resolution and development master program hosted, at the Arab American University Ramallah campus, the Palestinian American Businessman Sam Bahour, specialized in improving the modern IT sector, to talk to the program students on the private sector role in development as a part of their course conflicts, peace and development in Palestine by Dr. Dalal Eriqat.

Bahour talked about the private sector role in development in Palestine and shared with the students this sector’s journey since the last century till the Palestinian Authority arise. The paper depended on the Telecommunications division as the case to study privet sector role in development under occupation.

Dr. Eriqat said this activity is part of series of meetings and scientific visits that distinguishes the Arab American University master program of Conflicts Resolution and Development to enrich courses, encourage applying and practical study based on studying cases that simulates the Palestinian reality.

Bahour is a regular writer in a number of magazines. He is the consultant for several American and Palestinian projects and businesses. Also he is one of the founders of Pal-Tel, Plaza Mall, Dalia Foundation, Palestinian Politics Network and AIM and he is Chairman of Directors Board at Americans for Vibrant Palestinian Economy (AVPE) foundation.
