Dr. Nizam Diab, a member of the Board of Directors of the Hassib Sabbagh IT Center of Excellence at the Arab American University, received the Secretary General of Caritas International, Alastair, the Secretary General of Caritas Jerusalem, Anton Asfar, and the Director of the Caritas Office, Firas Badran, who visited the Hassib Sabbagh IT Center to discuss the mechanism of cooperation between the Center and Caritas.

Dr. Diab welcomed the guest delegation and stressed the importance of this visit, which adds great value to the partnership between the two institutions to build a better future based on the joint cooperation agreement between them in cooperation with the University radio.

The two sides discussed the importance of sustainable agriculture and moving away from the use of chemicals, promoting the use of natural pesticides, and encouraging clean agriculture that contributes to preserving the health of society and the balance of the ecosystem.

This also included a visit to the Arab American University Radio to shed light on farmers and raise awareness among farmers about the benefits of natural pesticides and the importance of moving away from chemicals, in order to spread the importance of building a sustainable agricultural future that achieves food security and preserves the health of the land and society.

The importance of enhancing the shared vision towards a healthy environment and safe agriculture was emphasized, which benefits the community as a whole, and in pursuit of a healthier and safer environment.
