The Deanship of Student Affairs, through the office of Social and Psychological Guidance, organized a training course for students on the university campus in Jenin, entitled "Social Perceptions Towards Addiction among Youth".
The course was delivered by Colonel Dhafer Salah, Awareness and Guidance Officer in the Drug Control Department, and Major Malik Abed, Deputy Director of the Drug Control Department, in the presence of Dr. Laila Herzallah, the guidance director of the University.
The Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Bashar Draghmah, stressed the necessity of holding these awareness sessions in this field and uniting efforts between the university, the police and the local community in order to protect students from the dangers of the development of this dangerous phenomenon that reflects negatively on the region and the surroundings.
