A Delegation of European Politicians Visits AAU

Mr. Faleh Abu Arrah, the Assistant to Arab American University -Jenin President for Administrative and Financial Affairs, received a delegation of Europeans politicians, and the Preventive Security Agency. On the other hand, the Director of the Public Relations Department; Mr. Fathi Aamor, the Director Deputy of Preventive Security Agency in Jenin; Col. Muhannad Abu Ali, the Representative of the International Relations, Amer Atatreh, the Director of public relations and media in the agency, Col. Sultan Zayoud, were in this reception.

Mr. Abu Arrah had welcomed the university’s guests before displaying a film about the university. He also gave a comprehensive overview about the university; its evolution, faculties and the academic programs, as well as the developmental projects that are offered and the future plans.

He also added, that the university is looking forwards for the excellence of the academic programs, that it annually develops unique and distinct disciplines which are required in the labor market locally, regionally and internationally. Abu Arrah notified that the university gives much concern to the medical specialties, such as dentistry, explaining the cooperation with the U.S , European and international universities,

Moreover, he explained that the university does only not focus on the academic side, but participate in the organization extracurricular activities and community events, where it established a sports village in which are all kinds of sports for students, and the community service is one of the main goals for the university.

Besides, Abu Arrah listened to the guests and answered their questions, then the delegation and attendees had a field tour to get to know the university faculties, departments, and the developmental projects.  In turn, the guests expressed how they were impressed with the university and what it offers to students and the local society.
