The Arab American University received a delegation from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, which is a partner in teaching the PhD and MA in Business Administration programs, who visited the university in order to discuss mechanisms for strengthening the existing partnership, and to tour the faculties of the University, its medical centers, and sports facilities.
The Indiana University of Pennsylvania delegation consisted of Dr. Lara Lochkins, Vice President for Academic Affairs, and Dr. Prashant Bharadwaj, Dean of Faculty of Business Administration. They were received by Dr. Muayad Abusaa, Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Malik Zaben, President Advisor for Human Medicine Affairs, Dr. Nouar Qutob, Dean of Faculty of Postgraduate Studies, Dr. Hussein AlAhmad, Deputy Dean of Graduate Studies for Academic and Student Affairs at the University Campus in Ramallah, Dr. Fadi Jumaa, Director of Public Relations, and Ms. Samah Dawahda, Public Relations Activities Officer.
During the meeting, Dr. Abusaa presented a detailed explanation to the Indiana University of Pennsylvania delegation about the university's various faculties, its academic programs in PhD, MA, and BA degrees, and its medical centers that provide many therapeutic services to the local community. He also praised the strategic relationship between Indiana University and the Arab American University through Joint MA and PhD programs.
The delegation expressed their happiness for visiting the university campus in Jenin, praising the scientific development of the university and its advanced capabilities in human medicine laboratories and prosthetics.
During the visit, the delegation toured the Sport Hall, the artificial limbs factory, and the faculties of Medicine, Nursing, and Dentistry, during which they got information about the teaching mechanisms.
