The President of the Arab American University, Prof. Dr. Ali Zedan Abu Zuhri, received the Director of the Erasmus Office in Palestine, Dr. Abdul Karim Daraghmeh, who visited the university to see its programs and confirm joint cooperation.
The President of the University, Prof. Dr. Abu Zuhri, welcomed the guest and presented a brief overview of the university’s progress in its academic programs as well as the University’s future vision represented in focusing on the suitability of the majors offered by the University to the needs of the labor market and enhancing academic quality at all levels. For his part, Dr. Daraghmeh expressed his pride in the University, praising the growth and development it has achieved in all fields, including the modern infrastructure and the diversity of facilities supporting the academic process. Dr. Daraghmeh stressed the compatibility of the universityss vision with the priorities of the European Erasmus Plus program for the coming years.
The guest was received by the university president, Dr. Adli Saleh, advisor to the university’s board of directors for planning, development and quality affairs, Dr. Muayad Abusaa, vice president for academic affairs, Dr. Sami Sader, assistant vice president for planning, development and quality, and engineer Ahmed Fouad, director of the quality development Office and Mrs. Samah Khalaf, director of the Projects and Grants Office.
After the reception, Dr. Daraghmeh, members of the University’s International Projects Committee as well as the directors of Erasmus projects currently active at the University, including Dr. Moaz Sobha, Dr. Amjad Al-Ratrout and Dr. Reham Nazzal had a meeting. They discussed the performance of the projects that the university is currently working on within the Erasmus Plus program, in addition to providing an overview of the coming calls and the priorities that the Erasmus Plus program focuses on now and in the future.
