The Arab American University has officially and finally received the International ADEE LEADER Accreditation Report for the Faculty of Dentistry, by MAC International Consulting, in addition to receiving the official and accredited logo. Thus, it is the first university in Palestine and the second in the region after the American University of Beirut.
This took place during a visit by representatives of the MAC International Consulting Company, Dr. Nibal Sabri and Eng. Yasmine Abu Bakr. They were received by the Vice President for Medical Faculties Affairs, Prof. Dr. Mohammad Asia, the Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Muayad Abusaa, the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Dr. Mohammad Jaradat, Director of the Office of Quality Development at the University, Eng. Ahmed Fouad, and the ADEE Staff at the Faculty of Dentistry.
Vice Presidents of the University for Medical Faculties and Academic Affairs, Prof. Dr. Asia and Dr. Abusaa, received the accreditation report, while the Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, Dr. Jaradat, received the International Accreditation Logo.
For her part, the representative of MAC International Consulting Company, Dr. Nibal Sabry, congratulated the University for receiving the International Accreditation. "Now, the university is officially accredited and it has obtained the International Accreditation ADEE LEADER after years of efforts and hard work to reach this level, which would raise the level of the Arab American University in general and the Faculty of Dentistry in particular” said Sabri, explaining that the company will work with the university over other years in order to reach the highest level of international accreditation.
For his part, Vice President for Medical Faculties Affairs, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Asia, welcomed the representatives of the MAC International Consulting Company, and appreciated the role played by the company and standing by the university and working together in order to reach this International Accreditation, emphasizing that the university always seeks to develop and achieve International Accreditations covering all medical specialties at the university and obtaining the accreditation of the Faculty of Dentistry ADEE LEADER EXCELLECE in the coming years. He indicated that graduates of the Faculty of Dentistry can now submit their graduation certificates for accreditation and authentication in any country in the world, especially European countries.
Prof. Dr. Asia emphasized that this accreditation has a significant influence on the development and improvement of education in the Faculty of Dentistry at the university in terms of the curriculum, teaching methods, and evaluation mechanism, in addition to other procedures such as training and courses.
For his part, Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Muayad Abusaa, congratulated the University in general, the Faculty of Dentistry in particular, academics, and students, for the International Accreditation ADEE LEADER. The university will work more in the coming years in order to reach EXCELLECE. These accreditations help university graduates practice their work anywhere in the world. He expressed his pride that the university is the first Palestinian university to obtain this type of accreditation and the second in the region, which indicates that the university constantly endeavors to develop in all aspects and reach the international level.
