Visiting the university Sports Faculties and praise its universal specifications

Arab American University hosted both President of the Faculty of Sport and Exercise Medicine in Britain Dr. Wissam Al-Shaikhly and lecturer at the University of Jordan Faculty of Physical Education Dr. Hashim Al-Kilani. They visited the university to know its sports facilities, discuss ways of investing in scientific research and representing the university and Palestine in strategic sports research at international level.

The visit comes as part of the cooperation between Palestinian Olympic Committee and Arab American University to improve national sports.

After visiting the university sports facilities, lecturer at the University of Jordan Faculty of Physical Education Dr. Kilani met President of the Arab American University Dr. Ali Zidan Abu Zuhri and his Administrative and Financial Affairs Assistant Mr. Faleh Abu Ara. They discussed scientific research and developing laboratories for scientific research and sports. They also talked about representing the university in the name of Palestine in strategic research at international level, where ten countries will participate in the research.

Dr. Al-Kilani was hosted in a scientific workshop attended by Chairman of Sports Science Department Dr. Samer Abu Eid, department lecturer Dr. Saba Jarrar, Director of the university sports facilities Mr. Oday Daraghmeh and the department faculty members and students. It was titled “Biomechanics Applications in Sports”

In the same context, Sport Sciences Department at Arab American University hosted the President of the Faculty of Sport and Exercise Medicine in Britain Dr. Wissam Al-Sheikhli in a workshop titled “Scientific Research Importance and Applying Philosophy”.

Before the workshop Dr. Al-Shaikhly toured the sports faculties and expressed his great admiration for the university role in taking care of sports and offer unique specialties.
