Launching the event of Multimedia Week the 10th at the University organized by the Department of Multimedia Technology at the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology, where the students presented their achievements, as it also organizes seminars, workshops, and competitions.
The event, which will last for two days, started with the opening of the exhibition, in the presence of VP for Planning and Quality affairs Dr. Moath Sabha, the Dean of Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology Dr. Mohammad Hamarsheh, Head of IT Dept Dr. Rami Hadrab, and other faculty and administrative members.

The VP for Planning and Quality Affairs Dr. Sabha, said that the events of the Multimedia Week reflected the distinguish teaching of Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology, and will witness the graduate students' ability to apply the theoretical lectures through their achievements and projects. As he assured the importance of creativity and excellence whether during studying or in the labor market.
The Dean of Faculty of Engineering and IT Dr. Mohammed Hamarsheh said that the Department of Multimedia Technology is very creative in their activities and unique in their work since 10 years, and thanked all those who contributed to the success of these events. As he pointed out the important achievement for the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology in developing the new PhD degree in Engineering and IT.
Dr. Rami Hadrab Head of IT dept., assured that organizing such events hold many objectives, including the involvement of students in presenting their creations, motivating them to work together and volunteering, which enhances their love of their specialization and their belonging to the university. Also it keep the students updated with the latest new technologies, and teaches them to develop the teaching plans and networking with the private sector.
The exhibition had many creative projects where the audience and participants can view, along with scientific seminars, where Ms. Sahira Derbas presented a documentary film and da iscussion, and a seminar by Mr. Mustafa Stiti entitled "filmmaking" and a seminar by Mr. Oday Abubaker from Dot-Line company about "branding", a seminar entitled "Digital marketing" for Ayoun Media company, and a seminar for the "animate.ps" festival.
