The university hosted a volleyball match between Faqwa Team and Quwat Team, as part of the launching of The Jawwal First Degree League for volleyball where the game was held in sports hall in the University.

The Game started with the attendance of Director of Sports Facilities at Arab American University Mr. Udi Darghma, President of the Palestinian Volleyball Federation Mr. Hamza Radi, and General Director of Supreme Council for Youth and Sports-North region, and Representative of Jawwal Mr. Thaer Abu Bakr.
The Director of Palestinian Volleyball Federation Mr. Hamza Radi said; that this game is an opening of Jawwal First Degree League for volleyball. Where 10 teams will participate from different regions from West Bank, to compete in 75 games in several sport halls in the north, middle and south WB. The opening of the League was held in the sports hall at Arab American University, Mr. Radi praised the efforts made by Arab American University in supporting Palestinian sports and building a sports hall with high international standards. Adding that such facilities are a source of pride for every Palestinian for its excellence and uniqueness.
Mr. Udi Darghma Director of sports facilities at Arab American University from his side said; that the university is ready to host sports championships and sport training both locally and regionally, assuring that the University supports an enhances all kinds of Palestinian sports.
The game ended with the wining of Quwat Team against Faqua Team scoring 3-1 in an exiting competitive game.
