Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) chose Dr. Mujahed Zayed, a lecturer at the Language Center of the Arab American University, among the top five Ph.D graduates who have presented many research papers and published in peer-reviewed, reputable journals.
Dr. Zayed was selected based on evaluating Ph.D theses, producing research papers, and publication in peer-reviewed, Scopus-indexed journals in addition to university contributions and community leadership.
Dr. Mujahed Zayed, who holds a Ph.D in Translation and Interpreting from the Universiti Putra Malaysia, pointed out that this selection by a university ranking 123rd globally opens up many opportunities for him in research partnerships with Malaysian universities, supervision offers, and reviewing scientific research in the university’s reputable journal as a Scopus listed one in addition to preference in applying for postdoctoral research fellowships.
Dr. Zayed explained that by honoring him as one of the top five postgraduate graduates, he raises the name of the Arab American University when publishing research in internationally accredited journals and this contributes to the provision of academic exchange offers and memoranda of understanding between Malaysian universities and the Arab American University.
