"Personal and Job Skills for Palestinian Youth" Training Program Implemented by the British Otermans Foundation is Concluded

Hassib Sabbagh IT Center of Excellence at the Arab American University, in partnership with the British Otermans Foundation in cooperation with Al-Quds University, Palestine Polytechnic University, An-Najah National University, the Contractors Union, and the Pakistani Aljadid Manpower Services, concluded the funded training program "Personal and Job Skills for Palestinian Youth" that targeted students And graduates of Palestinian universities and young entrepreneurs from the Palestinian community. The training was provided by a specialized training staff affiliated with the prestigious Otermans Foundation in partnership with Hassib Sabbagh IT Center of Excellence, which extended over a period of 12 weeks through the ZOOM platform.

The training program dealt with practical skills in preparing work reports in the English language, proper planning for projects and preparing the necessary reports, modern methods of how to lead and work within a team, and preparing personal goals to get a job.

The ceremony was inaugurated by Dr. Poldi Ottermans, on behalf of Mr. Hisham Saber Khan, Director of Aljadid Manpower Services in Pakistan. She thanked Hassib Sabbagh IT Center at the Arab American University for hosting the training program and making it a success. She also thanked all partners, trainers, and student trainees.

The Director of Hassib Sabbagh IT Center of Excellence, Mr. Radwan Abu Mwais, representative of the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Hassib Sabbagh Center, Eng. Muhannad Hijawi welcomed the attendees and emphasized the importance of training by enhancing the capabilities of Palestinian youth and university students in developing their skills to reach the local and global labour market with high efficiency. Later, Mr. Radwan Abu Mwais, and Coordinator of the Training Program at Hassib Sabbagh Center, Mr. Mahmoud Mahameed concluded the ceremony by thanking the Otermans Foundation, partners from Palestinian universities, trainers, and students for the great effort to make the training program a success under the current circumstances.

The Otermans Foundation, registered in London, is one of the international institutions that provide funded training opportunities for students, graduates, entrepreneurs, and young people from all over the world to train them on a range of skills in various fields, including those related to employment and training skills. The Foundation also cooperates with a group of partners such as Training institutes, Centers of excellence, governments, universities, schools, and non-governmental organizations to build the capacities of students and graduates to prepare them for the labour market. The Foundation is also active in providing advice to students, graduates, and talented youth to pursue their academic and professional lives.
