The Finance and Banking Sciences Department in the Faculty of Administrative and Financial Sciences in AAUP and under collaboration with the Palestinian Capital Market Authority organized a scientific seminar entitled “Financial Inclusion and Fintech”
Students from the Finance and Banking Department and some of the Faculty members participated in the meeting, and listened to Dr. Bashar Abu Zaarour- the General Manager in the General Administration in Digital Finance and Innovation Services in the Authority as he explained the concept of the Financial Inclusion and its role in the financial and banking services in Palestine in addition to explaining the importance of the Fintech to the financial inclusion.
Guests also cared to answer the questions and inquiries of students and Dr. Abu Zaarour emphasized on the importance of enhancing the joint programs between Arab American University and the Palestinian Capital Market Authority in order to introduce students to the latest developments in the banking sector in Palestine.
At the end, Dr. Abdelbasit Rabaaya- the Dean of the Faculty thanked the members of the Palestinian Capital Market Authority for their continuous support in offering such aiming and important seminars and courses to the Faculty, such as: Corporate Governance and enhancing Financial Inclusion, and emphasized on urgency of providing courses and symposiums that benefit students of the Faculty and develop their skills and improve their knowledge of the Palestinian labor market in general.
