“Tamayoz” training program partners organized interviews for Arab American University students who would like to join the program in its seventh edition. Interviews happened with the presence of representatives from Sharek Youth Forum and the Deanship of Student Affairs in AAUP.

Dr. Bashar Daraghmeh- the Dean of the Deanship of Student Affairs welcomed the guests in his office and ensured that the university is always interested in such youth programs especially the ones that its objectives fit with what the university is trying to do in empowering and developing youths to increase their motivation and improve their competition opportunities in the labor market through a program like Tamayoz.

“Tamayoz” partners have announced about the registration for Arab American University students through submitting applications to join the program. Tens of online applications were submitted from the university through the website of the program and the applications went under a selection and evaluation process, and then interviews were organized to choose the best between the applicants.

The program aims to develop the skills of students who are about to graduate by focusing on two main things, the first is to develop students’ abilities and skills including their public knowledge and encourage them to the critical thinking, expand their realizing and knowledge, enhance their communication and expression skills and develop their language and technological skills. While the second is to develop students’ capabilities needed to help them join the labor market by providing them with the practical skills and connect their academic and theoretical knowledge with the labor market needs, including the administrative, organizational and planning skills, supporting the educations for entrepreneurship, practical training in the different jobs and enhancing the citizenship concept and volunteerism.

Moreover, “Tamayoz” partners aim to be the gate program for students who are about to graduate to guide them to an economic empowerment and to enable them to join the labor market by reducing the gap between the theoretical knowledge, the academic education and the labor market practical requirements.
