Under the title “SUPPORTING YOU” and by the University's keenness and interest in local community, the Office of the Vice President for Training and Community Service implements a social initiative, serving high schools’ students in coordination with Palestinian higher education directorates.

The initiative includes a number of lectures and educational workshops, entitled “Dynamic Rhythm and Facing Psychological Pressures”. It targets students of several High Schools at the Higher Education Directorates in Tubas and Qabatya.

“This initiative, which includes activities and meetings that take place in schools, aims primarily to create direct interaction with the students on how to organize their time based on the effects and their biological clock, especially eating and sleeping times and their association with prayer times based on the sun movement. Also their relation to the human body as its part of the circle of nature and directly connected with night and day system”, adding that a series of motivational films were presented and a general daily plan of the study, rest and sleeping times.

The schools thanked the Arab American University for their initiative, stressing on these meetings necessity, especially with the tenth and eleventh grade students and in a wider and continuous matter.
