The AAUP Heart Centre has obtained the renewal of the international accreditation license, with a grade of “A” classification, for the next three years.
The Heart Centre at the university passed all the international tests, requirements, and standards for training stipulated by the American Heart Association. The renewal procedures lasted for a week. The center was administratively monitored and the progress of the courses was monitored via Zoom platform.
This achievement coincided with the center obtaining an entitlement of (International Training Centre for Trainers) from the American Heart Association, which entitles the center to grant the necessary licenses to establish training centers and assist other centers to add new branches in the field of cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
Two agreements have been concluded with centers in the homeland to train their trainers, in addition to establishing a training site for the Palestinian Ministry of Health, which will be under the supervision of the AAUP Heart Centre, to spread the culture of cardiopulmonary resuscitation to the community and to develop medical personnel in the fields of advanced resuscitation.
