Chairman of University Board of Directors Dr. Yousef Asfour and University President Prof. Dr. Ali Zeidan Abu Zuhri honored the Faculty of Science member Prof. Dr. Atef Qasrawi giving him the university shield for his entrepreneur role in scientific research on regional and international levels as he made almost 144 scientific researches.

The honoring was in presence of Jenin’s Governance and member of AAUJ Board of Trustees Ibrahim Ramadan, academic advisor for the Board of Directors and founder president Prof. Dr. Waleed Deep and members of Board of Directors Mr. Ghaleb Hafi, Mrs. Sabah Asfour, Board of Trustees member Deputy Jamal Howel, Fateh Secretary in Jenin Prof. Dr. Noor Aldeen Abu Al-Rub, President Vices and assistants and Faculties Deans.

The university President Dr. Abu Zuhri stressed, this honoring was made by the university administration for Prof. Qasrawi academic and research accomplishments. He said his latest achievements are indicated on the scientific research portal website, which includes millions of researchers from around the world, Dr. Qassrawi was chosen among the top 5% researchers participating in the portal.

During the honoring, Dr. Asfour, Chairman of the University Directors Board praised Dr. Qasrawi’s research achievement saying “The University is proud with its teaching staff and distinguished students. Today we celebrate Dr. Qasrawi achievement, which is an addition to the University's many achievements, my colleagues at the university board and I believed in the national capabilities we cherish, provide all the necessary means to become universal and raise the name of Palestine high among nations and peoples”.

Dr. Qasrawi thanked Dr. Asfour and the university for their gesture, confirming his pride with the Arab American University and its distinguish academic message.
