The Deanship of Student Affairs and the Department of Arabic Language and Information at the Faculty of Arts organized a seminar about combating violence against women under the title "Hidden Tales" in cooperation with the Freedom Theater.

The seminar was attended by Ms. Juanna Al-Hafi, from Students' Affairs dept and Dr. Hanadi Dweikat, which teaches Public Relations course and the Deputy Director of Freedom Theater Imad Abu Hantash,, co-director of the paly “Ahna Hon” Ahmed Al-Tubasi, and Ms. Ranen Audih.

The seminar started with a televised play entitled "We are also here…… Palestine women", which reflected the reality of women in Palestine. After the presentation, there was an open discussion about the reality of Palestinian women living in Palestine.

The objective of the activity is to raise awareness among the audience about how to combat violence against women, in addition to enhancing the skills of students in public relations and the ways of organizing events to be able to implement skills.
