The University President, VP for Administrative and Financial Affairs Mr. Faleh Abu Arra, VP for Training and Community Service Dr. Nizam Diab, Dean of Admissions and Registration Dr. Hazem Khanfar, and president of the Student Union Council Ali Kameel, all welcomed the student.
The university president congratulated the student on her achievement, and said: “It’s a great pride that the top student in Palestine enrolled at the Arab American University.” He explained, the university offers many grants to support and encourage outstanding students to continue their education. Stressing, we must support Palestinian youth to contribute in constructing an independent Palestinian state.
Student Ghanam expressed her pleasure to join the Arab American University saying: “Thank God for helping me achieve my dream to enroll in the university, and for doing great in high school to be the first in the literary branch”. Adding, she chose the Arab American University for its good academic reputation and because she wanted to achieve her dream by specializing in English. Noting, the reason for choosing this specialty is because it’s the world main language and it will give her more options in its scientific and practical life.
