Dr. Laila Harzallah obtained her PhD in Mental Health and Counseling from Ain Shams University in 2020. She has over eleven years of administrative and academic experience in mental health and community work. She currently serves as Assistant to the University President for Community Affairs. She has numerous published and unpublished scientific research papers, in addition to participating in numerous international and local scientific conferences. She is a community activist and a member of the university's Strategic Planning Committee. She is a member of the Academic Exchange Committee with Coventry University. She has established numerous community initiatives and is active outside of university as a member of local bodies and the Women's Union.
She has completed numerous training courses in various fields.
