I am honored and pleased to welcome you to the website of the College of Medicine at the Arab American University. Through this message, I would like to thank my fellow faculty members for the effort they are making to advance this college so that it becomes a model to be emulated in Palestine and in the region.
I also address my daughters and sons, the students of the college, with my greetings and say thank you for choosing the Arab American University. As for you having chosen this path, you have decided to belong to a category with high determination, “doctors.” Yes, from this moment on, you have taken it upon yourself to work very hard to be doctors, researchers, and scientists for the advancement. With medical services in Palestine and helping your communities locally, as well as carrying the message of knowledge and advancement to the region and the entire world.

Innovative strategies and methodologies

The Arab American University (AAUP, former abbreviation AAUJ) is the first private university in Palestine with Palestinian capital. It was established in 2000 in cooperation with California State University (CSU) in the city of Stanislaus, which provided advice in the field of developing academic plans and curricula and how to implement them, and Utah State University ( USU) in Logan City, which provided academic and administrative personnel for the first two years of the Arab American University. 

Vision

Arab American University aspires to be an academic institution known for graduating generations of students who exceed local and global expectations with the highest principles of ethics, and whose research and creativity have an effective impact on society.

Message

The university's mission is to provide distinguished, world-class academic programs, while attracting qualified faculty members for teaching and research. The university works hard to create an open environment for cultural and knowledge exchange, with a focus on stimulating scientific research, creativity, innovation and leadership. The university pays special attention to building strong collaborative relationships with prestigious international universities. In addition, the university seeks to instill values and principles of ethics in its students, and encourages volunteerism and service to the local community by its staff, faculty and students.
