The IEEE Branch at the Arab American University Student Community opened the IEEE Robotics and Automation Society (RAS) event, which aimed to introduce students to the society and its role in supporting technical and scientific activities within the University, and to enhance their interest in the fields of robotics, artificial intelligence, and modern technologies.

Participants presented the society's vision, goals, and future plans, along with an overview of the activities and training courses it intends to offer in the coming period, particularly in the fields of artificial intelligence and its various applications.

The event organizers emphasized that the society strives to build an active student technology community by providing opportunities for practical learning and development, and by organizing specialized workshops and activities that keep pace with the rapid advancements in the technology sector. The event also focused on encouraging students to engage with student technology societies and participate in the events and programs that the society will offer in the future.

The event included an introduction to the artificial intelligence (AI) specializations available at the Arab American University, highlighting the importance of acquiring AI skills and integrating them into various academic disciplines to enhance students' capabilities and prepare them for the labor market. 

The launch of the IEEE Robotics and Automation Society is part of the Arab American University's IEEE branch's efforts to promote a culture of innovation and scientific research, as well as to empower students to keep pace with modern technological advancements and contribute to building technological solutions that serve society.
