The Faculty of Information Technology at the Arab American University, in cooperation with Asal Technology Company, granted certificates to students who completed academic and practical courses in Internet Application Development.
The event was attended by the University's Vice President for Academic Affairs, Professor Hazem Khanfar, Dean of the Faculty of Information Technology, Dr. Mohammad Maree, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Dr. Mahmoud Obeid, Mr. Raafat Amarneh, Head of the Departments of Computer Science, Networks, and Information Security as well as representatives from Asal Technology Company.
The Faculty of Information Technology had previously launched a series of academic and practical lectures on Internet Application Development, with the aim of enhancing students' practical skills and preparing them for entry into the labor market. The lectures were taught by Engineer Ibrahim Al-Amer from Asal Technology Company, a graduate of the Faculty.
In a speech, the Dean of the Faculty of Information Technology, Dr. Mohammad Maree, emphasized that this event is part of a series of events organized by the Faculty, some of which are ongoing and others will be announced soon.
In turn, the University's Vice President for Academic Affairs, Professor Hazem Khanfar, explained the importance of these academic courses and their practical application, whether the student is still studying or entering the labor market.
For his part, the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Dr. Mahmoud Obeid, noted that education does not stop once a student receives their degree. Rather, they strive to develop themselves by enrolling in further development courses and engaging with companies to learn about the work mechanisms and develop themselves.
Mr. Raafat Amarneh, Head of the Computer Science, Networks and Information Security Departments, emphasized the importance of collaborating with companies and institutions to gain and benefit from their expertise. He urged students to explore new opportunities with institutions and companies.
A representative from Asal Technology Company indicated that the company seeks to organize more courses with the Arab American University, emphasizing the importance of cooperation with the prestigious academic institution and praising its role.
Finally, certificates were granted to 84 students who participated in numerous academic and practical courses and lectures on internet application development.
Certificates were also granted to a number of field training students from the Faculties of Information Technology and Engineering who trained at Asal Technology Company.
