Innovative strategies and methodologies

The Department of Physics was established at the beginning of the academic year
2005/2006, and is considered one of the main departments in the Faculty of Science.
It graduates students in the field of specialization and offers many courses
that serve other specializations in the university. The first cohort graduated at the end
of the academic year 2008/2009. The Department of Physics offers a major bachelor
program, and two minors in computer science and education, to prepare competent graduates capable of serving their community in various fields
such as teaching and scientific research.

A group of distinguished faculty members with discriminated scientific ranks and
specializations supervise the teaching of students and consolidate their physics
concepts, and they are assisted in this by the administrative staff in the department.
