Students Osama Abu Znaid and Osama Abu Sir participated in the general meeting of the International Federation of Medical Student Associations (IFMSA), which was held in Ecuador.

This general international meeting is a platform to meet medical students from different parts of the world, exchange ideas, plan activities to improve global health, and attain the vision of the International Federation of Medical Students. The vision of IFMSA is to strengthen medical students, help them make change, and engage youth in decision-making.

The international meeting includes over 1,000 medical students, representing different countries of the world, such as the Middle East, Europe, Africa, East Asia, North and South America.

This meeting provides training workshops for students in various health fields, in addition to workshops on decision-making and changing the laws on which the International Federation is based. It also provides the opportunity for medical students to showcase the distinctive activities they had prepared in their countries, and to encourage medical students around the world to emulate or participate in the meeting.
