The Korean KOICA Alumni Association, in partnership with the Arab American University and Al-Quds Open University, has held a technological and cultural competition, under the supervision of the Cultural and Arts Activities Department in the Deanship of Student Affairs at the Arab American University.
The competition aimed to provide an interactive platform for students to showcase their technological and cultural skills through challenges and questions in various fields including technology, culture, and innovation. The Arab American University was represented by a team of three students from the faculties of engineering and information technology, while the Al-Quds Open University team included three students from different specializations.
This competition aims to enhance cooperation between Palestinian universities, encourage students to develop their skills in technological and cultural fields, create an interactive environment to enhance positive competition among students, and increase their awareness of the importance of cultural and technological innovation in their academic and professional lives.
At the end of the competition, the Arab American University team managed to win over the guest team from Al-Quds Open University, and the winning team was honored with awards and certificates of appreciation presented by the KOICA Association.
At the opening of the competition, Louay Tafesh from the Deanship of Student Affairs at the Arab American University spoke about the importance of joint activities between universities, and Mr. Wathiq Hithnawi, the institution's coordinator in the city of Jenin, representing the KOICA Association, stressed the importance of academic cooperation and cultural exchange between educational institutions.
