Information Extraction from Big Social Data

Big Data has become the technical term that represents the vast quantity of information created and stored on day to day basis. Social media is a major contributor to the volume, velocity and variety of big data such as: blogs posts, tweets, and other social network's artefacts. Information extraction (IE) is a cascade of sequential steps, at each of which the system will add a structure and often lose information. Results from a template designed to capture posts relating to the loss or theft of personal belongings. This research presents an analysis methodology for big social data using template-based information extraction.
