Foreign Secondary Certificate holders (IB, SAT, IGCSE, GCE, GCSE) are accepted as follows:
1. IB certificate International Baccalaureate:
- Obtain an equivalent document of International Baccalaureate certificate from the Palestinian Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
- The Deanship of Admission and Registration will transfer the grades to percentage system as following :

* Grades are also added to the rate as registered in the International Baccalaureate (IB) the points of EE, TOK.
- The Grades from Arab Countries are accredited after Official ratification and based on the instructions of the Palestinian Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and evident documents that the student has studied tenth, eleventh and twelfth grades in the country that issues the certificates.
* When there is a percentage in the equation it is accredited and if it does not exist the above formula will be implemented.
* When there is a type on the certificate, the type is approved as in “scientific, literary.. etc”, and if the type is not mentioned in the certificate then its classified as scientific referring to equivalent instructions of Foreign certificate for general secondary education by the Palestinian Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
2. IGCSE Certificates, GCSE, GCE (British General Culture Certificate):
- Obtain an equivalent document certificate of a Palestinian certificate for general secondary education from the Palestinian Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
- The Deanship of Admission and Registration will transfer the grades to percentage system as following:
* The two highest courses from the advanced level or the allied advanced level will be calculated in addition to the top six courses from the average level by dividing the total course percentage grades from the number of courses and based on that the below table of grades will be accredited.

Level \ Grades A or A* B A.L 2 1 A.S.L 2 1 - The Grades from Arab Countries are accredited after Official ratification and based on the instructions of the Palestinian Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and evident documents that the student has studied tenth, eleventh and twelfth grades in the country that issues the certificates, as following:

* When there is a type on the certificate, the type is approved as in “scientific, literary.. etc”, and if the type is not mentioned in the certificate then its classified as scientific if he passes two advanced or allied advanced courses from the following courses (mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology), the mathematics course is within average level courses.
3. SAT I + SAT II Certificates:
- Obtain an equivalent document of a Palestinian certificate for general secondary education from the Palestinian Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
- The Deanship of Admission and Registration will transfer the grades to percentage system by calculating SAT II courses:
- The grade in percentage system for each course = (course grade * 0.1) + 25 .
- Then the weighted average is calculated, which is the sum of the grades of all courses divided by the number of SATII courses recorded in the student’s equation issued by the Palestinian Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
- The Grades from Arab Countries are accredited after Official ratification and based on the instructions of the Palestinian Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and evident documents that the student has studied eleventh and twelfth grades in the country that issues the certificates.
* When there is a percentage in the equation it is accredited and if it does not exist the above formula will be implemented.
* When there is a type on the certificate, the type is approved as in “scientific, literary.. etc”, and if the type is not mentioned in the certificate then its classified as scientific referring to equivalent instructions of Foreign certificate for general secondary education by the Palestinian Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
High school certificate are accepted from Saudi Arabia as follows:
- Obtain an equivalent document of a Palestinian certificate for general secondary education from the Palestinian Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
- Passing the General Aptitude Test (GAT) and Scholastic Achievement Admission Test at the National Center for Measurement and Evaluation in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. (Applied to anyone who completed secondary school in the Kingdom starting from the academic year 2017)
- The Deanship of Admissions and Registration will calculate the students acceptance rates based on the high school certificate and the results of General Aptitude Test (GAT) and Scholastic Achievement Admission Test according to the following percentages:
Secondary School Grade 50% General Aptitude Test (GAT) Grade 25% Scholastic Achievement Admission Test Grade 25% * The grade is calculated as following: (General Secondary School grade × 0.50) + (General Aptitude Test (GAT) grade × 0.25) + (Scholastic Achievement Admission Test grade x 0.25) = total grade.
